Focus Question:
What insights might be gained from analyses of National Assessment of Educational Progress (NAEP) to identify factors associated with student learning opportunities and outcomes in civics, economics, geography, and US history?
Abstract:
The National Assessment of Educational Progress (NAEP) conducts periodic national assessment studies of student achievement in history, economics, civics, and geography. Subject area researchers and methodologists will share recommendations for NAEP analyses involving restricted-use data. Implications for practitioners, policymakers, social science organizations, and educational research will be discussed.
